StoneLock Pro
A water-based acrylic binder that locks loose decorative stone, gravel and pebbles in place — while retaining a clear, natural-looking finish.
Product overview
StoneLock Pro is a water-based acrylic binder developed to stabilise loose decorative stone, gravel and pebbles. After curing, it helps bind contact points within the aggregate while retaining a natural-looking finish. It is intended for landscaped areas, pebble beds, borders and light pedestrian-use decorative surfaces.
Product type: Water-based acrylic landscape binder

How to apply
- Stir: Stir thoroughly before use.
- Apply: Pour or spray evenly using a watering can, pump sprayer or low-pressure sprayer. For selected installations, a mix-in application may also be used.
- Build: Avoid excessive pooling. A second coat may be applied after the first application has dried where additional binding is required.
- Cure: Protect from rain, irrigation and heavy traffic during the curing period.
Surface preparation
Ensure stone is clean, dry and free from dust, oil, weeds and loose contamination.
Coverage & guidance
Coverage varies with aggregate size, porosity, depth, compaction and application method. A practical spreading rate of approximately 1.0–2.5 m²/L may be used for estimating purposes. A site trial is recommended before calculating final project quantities.
Drying & curing
Drying is by water evaporation and polymer film formation. Initial drying may occur within several hours under suitable conditions, while useful binding strength generally develops over 24–48 hours. Allow approximately 48–72 hours for full cure. Low temperature, high humidity, thick application and poor airflow will extend curing time.
Limitations
- Not a structural adhesive and not intended for vehicular traffic unless separately validated.
- Do not apply to wet, contaminated or unstable aggregate.
- Do not apply where rain is expected before adequate curing.
- Standing water, poor drainage and excessive movement can shorten service life.
- Always carry out a small trial to confirm penetration, finish and binding performance.
Storage & safety
Store sealed, upright and out of direct sunlight, ideally between 5°C and 30°C. Protect from frost and freezing. Avoid eye contact and prolonged skin contact. Keep out of reach of children. Refer to the current SDS for detailed handling, first-aid and disposal requirements.
